‘Dancing With The Stars’ Results Recap

‘Dancing With The Stars’ Results Recap: Meet The Top 5 Couples

Dancing With The Stars had a week of shockers and Tuesday’s results show was no exception. The ABC competition cut the six remaining couples down to the five semi-finalists and featured a performance from Jason Derulo.   After last night’s night of high and low points, Zendaya’s perfect-scoring salsa trio and Kellie Pickler’s surprisingly low score of 7 from Len Goodman made tonight’s results show more interesting than usual.
The encore goes to Zendaya, Gleb Savchenko and Val Chmerkovskiy. Their three-person salsa routine scored the first 30 of the season, so of course we would get a replay. And surprise, surprise -- the crowd-pleasing teen was named on of the few to be on her way to the semifinals. Was there any doubt?
Another predictable pair to head to the winner’s circle was Aly Raisman and her partner, Mark Ballas. These two have been frontrunners from the start and show no signs of slowing down now.
In a shocking twist, the other sure-win for the semi-finals was in jeopardy for the first time this season. The crowd was in an uproar when the hosts called Kellie Pickler to the chopping block. Guess the home viewers agreed with Len’s harsh critique of the country cutie, despite her stellar showing all season.
There’s no way she and Derek Hough are heading home. Just. No. Way.
Just as shocking was the announcement that Ingo Rademacher and his partner, Kym Johnson, were safe.
Seriously, this guy's got some loyal fans because his dance moves stink -- for real. They run another special segment about his super cute kid, but it’s starting to feel like overkill. We get it. He’s a dad. Moving on.
Jacoby Jones just couldn’t catch a break. The football star seriously improved over the course of the competition and his shirt-ripping number definitely earned rave reviews from the judge’s Monday night. Still, the voters put him back on the bottom for the second week in a row. His partner, Karina Smirnoff, seemed particularly surprised by their return to the scary place.
Also on the bottom was The Bachelor's Sean Lowe. He and Peta Murgatroyd served up a double dose of duds last night and the judges weren’t impressed. I thought he might've stood a chance against Ingo on the bottom this week, but with Kellie sitting in the hot seat, I’m thinking he’s toast.
The whole studio breathed a sigh of relief when Kellie and Derek were told they’re safe. They’ll continue their battle for the top spot in the semi-finals where they belong.
As expected, it was Sean’s last night in the ballroom. He didn’t seem too surprised by the bad news and made a gracious exit.
