Anna Friel was left red-faced after doing research for porn biopic The Look Of Love.
The actress stars as Jean Raymond, the wife of porn tycoon Paul Raymond, in the raunchy flick but her preparations for the role backfired when she accidentally emailed explicit pictures to her dad.
‘He called me and said, "I think you're going a bit far on this one",' says Anna, 36.
‘I'd sent him an attachment of an actual porn shoot that Jean did - I was mortified.'
Anna, who is dating Rhys Ifans, had to do nude scenes for the film and she admits that meeting onscreen husband Steve Coogan put her at ease.
‘Meeting Steve for the first time I felt incredibly relaxed because it turns out we were born 15 minutes away from each other near Rochdale,' the actress tells Celebs On Sunday.
‘I think when you hear those dulcet Northern tones it breeds familiarity.'
