Selena Gomez gave audience members a bit more than they bargained for at a gig on Sunday.
The singer, 20, was performing at the AMP Radio Birthday Bash in Boston, Massachusetts and got a bit carried away with some energetic dancing.
Selena's revealing split dress gave a glimpse of what appeared to be flesh-coloured underpants, though many have speculated that she may have been going commando.
The former Disney starlet didn't let the embarrassing slip bother her though and carried on with her lively performance.
Later that day Selena, who split from Justin Bieber earlier this year, Tweeted that she'd had a great time at the show and was keen to hit the road with her upcoming tour.
‘What an amazing crowd! Thank you @1033ampradio #AmpBdayBash,' the Spring Breakers star told her Twitter fans.

Cheryl Cole would be much happier if she’d never become famous

We’ve seen the instagrams, read the tweets, heard the reports. Now it’s time to say what we’re all thinking.
Cheryl Nosurname had the most depressing 30th birthday in the history of celebrations, didn’t she?
In case you’ve managed to escape this, first Chezza rounded up her massive gang of friends i.e. mum, boyfriend, hairstylist and some – but not all – of the people she was put together with on a reality show.
Then she flew them to Vegas, (a la stag night) hired a limo (a la hen night) and went to some club full of strangers who took photos of her on their phones (a la bad night).
It’s just the latest example of­ ­something that’s been clear for a? while now. Cheryl Nosurname would be much happier if she’d never ?become famous.
If Chezza was just a norm she’d be able to have real experiences, and she’d probably have some proper mates, too, instead ?of having to hang out with her mum and brother all ?the time.
If she’d got a new job and been sacked after a few days, no one would have known except the people she chose to confide in.
She never would have met Derek Hough, so he wouldn’t have taken her to Tanzania, so she wouldn’t have nearly died from malaria.
More importantly, she never ?would have met Ashley Cole, let ?alone married him, so she wouldn’t have nearly died from repeated betrayal and public humiliation.
She wouldn’t have to put up with snide comments about lip-syncing and ­everything she wears, or pretty much universal ­criticism of her voice.
Cheryl Nobody would surely have had the child she’s always desperately wanted by now.
She’d be with a man who she had no doubt was with her for who she is rather than what she has. She wouldn’t be in a different country to him most of the time either. She wouldn’t have to wear the painful high heels she always moans about unless she wanted to. She wouldn’t have to constantly worry about what people will think and say about her.
No one would meddle, wade into or expose the most private, intimate parts of her life. She wouldn’t have to cut herself off from the world, or be wary about who she trusted.
If she wasn’t famous, Cheryl would be free. Or things could go the other way and the complete opposite could happen, of course…
So in summary, if Cheryl wasn’t famous she’d be much happier.
Or, in prison.

Hero of the week: Shrinidhi Prakash from Child Genius

It takes something fairly ­extraordinary – or just any cat – to touch my black heart… but this week adorable Shrinidhi did exactly that.
She also made me scream, jump from the sofa, punch the air and hug my co-viewer like I haven’t since The X Factor final (series two).
Huge congrats to the newly crowned, utterly deserving winner of Child Genius – and to Channel 4 for a fascinating series which built to a ­thrillingly tense climax. I loved Shrinidhi’s parents, too, who are encouraging, loving and supportive without ever being pushy.
Hopefully some of the other competition mums and dads watched the show and learned from their example.
It’s a cliche to say I want Shrinidhi to be Prime Minister, but I do. Not when she grows up though, now. Obviously she’d do a much better job than David Cameron – but that’s not because she’s a genius. It’s because any 11-year-old would.

Rhode Island Becomes Third State With Paid Family Leave

Sixty-four cents won't buy you a lot. It's not enough for a bus ticket or a fifth of a tank of gas. It won't get you a newspaper or even a pack of gum.
But if you live in Rhode Island and earn $40,000 a year, 64 cents a week will buy your way into an insurance pool that will allow you to draw partial pay during a family leave. It means you won't have to say "I have to leave you now" to a badly injured or ill loved one. It means dads and adoptive parents can afford to have some time to bond with a new baby.
Both houses have now passed the Temporary Caregiver Insurance Bill (H.B. 5889, S.B. 231), positioning Rhode Island to become the third state in the country to offer wage replacement during family leave. Sponsored in the Senate by Sen. Gayle Goldin and in the House by Rep. Elaine Coderre, the bill awaits the signature of Gov. Lincoln Chafee, who has already expressed his support.
The law will help workers like Renay Brooks-Omisore, whose son, a police officer and father of two, suffered severe brain trauma when a driver hit his motorcycle in 2011. Renay recalls the moment she had to leave her son in the hospital: "I remember telling my son, 'I have to leave you now, because I have to go to work, but we'll be back here in a couple of days, because you know we love you.' With TCI in place, no mother or father will have to say that, because I tell you, it's one of the hardest things to say to your family member as you hold their hand."
The Temporary Caregiver Insurance (TCI) bill will be the first law of its kind in the U.S. to protect the job security of all employees needing to take leave for a new child or to care for a seriously ill family member or personal illness. The bill will ensure that workers can take up to four weeks of paid leave to be with their families and that their jobs will be protected during that time.
Broad-Based Coalition Backed the Bill
"We commend the Rhode Island state legislature on standing up for Rhode Island's families by passing Temporary Caregiver Insurance, which will strengthen the foundation of our economy by helping families stay afloat when they need it most," said Marcia Coné, CEO of the Women's Fund for Rhode Island. "Our workforce has changed and our economy has changed. Temporary Caregiver Insurance will enable working people to care for their children, their parents, their loved ones, without fear of falling behind on their bills or losing their jobs."
TCI was supported in the legislature by WE Care for Rhode Island, a broad-based coalition of workers, local business owners, economists, health care providers and health and family advocates. Rhode Island's TCI bill also drew support from several national business associations -- Main Street Alliance, the American Sustainable Business Council, the Small Business Majority, and the U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce -- all of which urged the State Legislature to pass it.
Boost to Jobs and the Economy
During the floor vote, some legislators repeated the gloomy predictions of big corporate lobbies opposed to the bill. But they were far outnumbered by supporters, including legislators who are small business owners, who pointed out that the measure will allow employees in small firms to take care of their loved ones and be able to return to their jobs -- and will benefit the economy by helping people cover the basics.
"I know that my employees have lives and loved ones beyond the workplace," said Ann-Marie Harrington, President of Embolden, a digital media firm in Pawtucket and one of the many Rhode Island business owners who contacted legislators in support of TCI. "I want my employees to be able take care of who they need to at home without worrying about being able to cover their bills. An employee who is distracted on the job is no good to me, and after a period of paid leave, they come back to work and stick with me for years. Hiring and training replacement workers is expensive, so keeping turnover low is a huge cost saver for any business.
"As a business owner and a mom and a daughter, I'm proud that our state legislators stood up for local businesses and Rhode Island's working families by voting for TCI. Jobs should be what enable us to support our families, not what prevent us from caring for them."
How TCI Works
TCI builds off of Rhode Island's existing, successful Temporary Disability Insurance program (in existence since 1942, the nation's first) and extends replacement income to workers who need to take time off to care for a new child or a seriously ill loved one. The program is revenue-neutral, funded solely through employee contributions, which amount to about 64 cents a week for workers earning $40,060 a year. These pooled payments provide replacement income to keep families afloat -- and off public assistance -- during the time when they are caring for family members.
Everybody Benefits
"Temporary Caregiver Insurance is one of those rare policies where everybody benefits," said Rep. Elaine Coderre (D-60). "In an economy where too many people are struggling to cover the basics, TCI will ensure that a new baby or a health crisis does not become a financial crisis for our working families."
More than 70 percent of children in Rhode Island live in families with all parents working, so loss of income for a primary breadwinner and caregiver has significant economic consequences for the whole family. Many families cannot afford to have one parent miss work to care for a family member, and studies show that many bankruptcies happen after a worker misses two or more weeks of work due to illness.
Similar paid family leave insurance programs in California and New Jersey have proven popular among business owners. A 2011 study of California's family leave insurance (FMLI) program estimated savings for employers at $89 million a year. The program has been easy to implement, and most California employers coordinate their own benefits with the state's FMLI program. A recent Rutgers study shows that New Jersey's FMLI program has reduced costs by decreasing turnover and improving productivity. By offering workers job protection, Rhode Island's TCI bill will help increase employee retention and keep working people in their jobs.
"The passage of Temporary Caregiver Insurance is a great victory for Rhode Island's families and economy," said Senator Gayle Goldin (D-3), who championed the bill in the Senate. "Welcoming a new baby, or caring for an ill family member will no longer push people into poverty."
We Need State Paid Leave Fund
With this vote, Rhode Island joins California and New Jersey in leading the nation toward policies that value families and reflect the needs of our modern workforce and economy.
The Rhode Island victory adds fuel to the growing nationwide movement for policies like family leave insurance and paid sick days, and shows that progress can and does come from hardworking people speaking up for their families, their communities, and their jobs. We urge Congress to pass the State Paid Leave Fund so that more states can create insurance programs as we work to pass federal legislation that will cover everyone.
As Rep. Grace Diaz put it during the floor debate, "Most people work to support their families. In difficult times, we need to be with the ones we love. Families come first."

Every so often, the celestial spheres in the heavens collide and we can’t help but feel blessed to be British.

Today is such a day. The mercury is rising, there’s a royal baby in the offing and Andy Murray is not only set to triumph – fingers crossed – at Wimbledon, but has already answered our hopes and prayers by bringing us his glamorous girlfriend, Kim Sears.

Just as the Duchess of Cambridge has retired from public view amid drifts of tiny Petit Bateau sleepsuits, and we are anxiously pacing about waiting for her to re-emerge, the lovely, leggy Kim, 25, has come along at absolutely the right moment to fill the gap.

Consider the evidence. She’s got the great hair (more artfully tousled than Kate’s, but just as enviably luxuriant); the fabulous slim figure; the wide, ready smile; and the nicely middle-class hinterland.

In tune with the mood of the nation, she also rocks a high-street label with stylish aplomb, leaving only the £1,500 blush pink Mulberry handbag quietly to convey her well-heeled status. It’s too early to say whether the Kim Effect will see even more Whistles frocks fly off the shelves, but if her chap finally conquers at Wimbledon this weekend, her profile will soar.

A more crucial similarity between Kim and Kate is, perhaps, the supporting role they both play – one that is demanded of a woman in a relationship with a world-class sportsman or indeed a prince of the realm.
Whatever the dynamic of their partnership in private, in public Sears is inevitably the Wag; Murray, 26, the main attraction. It’s not a comfortable position for anyone with a large ego. His diary, of necessity, dominates. His schedule will always take priority over family hatches, matches and dispatches.
Sears claims to hate watching her boyfriend play – yet, loyally, she turns up for every match, because Murray needs her. Certainly, it was obvious from her facial expressions on Wednesday that she lives every hard-fought point.
As his chief cheerleader, she vicariously endured the agony and the ecstasy of his nail-biting battle against Spain’s Fernando Verdasco. But she didn’t suffer in silence – onlookers were taken aback by how vocal Sears was.
She oohed and aahed loudly; her intakes of breath were audible and her frowns and smiles a weathervane of how her Scotsman was faring.
One seasoned spectator was given to note that between serves, once the applause had died down and a hush had descended, time and again Sears would start cheering once more, followed by other members of Team Murray, and would have to be quietened down before a point could be played.
A cynic might observe it as a classic way of psyching out an opponent. But the final is in sight, so let us not cast a pall over play.
What little we know of Sears is unimpeachable. Born in East Sussex, she was privately educated and gained A-levels in music, art and drama before studying English Literature at the University of Sussex.
Her father, Nigel, is a tennis coach. Her path crossed with Murray’s at the 2005 French Open, when she was 17, and they began dating. In 2009, they split up, the cause of which could be reliably guessed at: his jet-setting lifestyle. But Murray, who is known to be heavily reliant on his small but steadfast band of acolytes, is said to have found it so tough without her that he wooed her again and they were reunited within six months.
They now live together in his £5million house in Oxshott, Surrey, with their border terriers Maggie and Rusty, and last year Sears set herself up in business as a pet portraitist.
Her website Brushes and Paws says her favourite things are “tea, lots of chocolate biscuits, Classic FM and copious amounts of Jilly Cooper”. How much time she can realistically devote to her animal art is a moot point; unless she travels with Murray, the couple have no opportunity to spend time together and the site states categorically that she is not taking commissions at present.
She does, however, run a Twitter account ostensibly for Murray’s dog, Maggie May @maggiemay_hem, which reveals that she has a sharp sense of humour.
A recent tweet about the insightful BBC programme Andy Murray: the Man Behind the Racquet, read: “Don’t forget to watch my documentary tonight, BBC One at 10.25pm. Brief cameo by Andy Murray but you can fast forward that.”
The programme gave a much-needed boost to Murray’s popularity. From his earliest successes, he has suffered from a dour, taciturn image. Shy and awkward, he seldom smiled or acknowledged the crowds, being always too focused on his game to invest time in nurturing his fan base.
Some of the blame for his poor PR can be credited to his unfortunate anyone-but-England foot fault in 2006, when his response to a question of supporting a team in the World Cup fell flat. His laconic delivery made it sound less like the quip it was meant to be and more like a chippy rejection of England and the English. It has taken years for crowds and commentators alike to forgive him – his unabashed tears at losing last year’s final helped. Then came redemption with the Olympic Gold, and that first, previously so elusive grand slam title just weeks later at the US Open.
But central to that rehabilitation has been his humorous, outgoing, occasionally mischievous girlfriend, who evidently brings out the best in him and who looks set to add to the gaiety of the nation further.
Last year, Maggie May memorably tweeted: “Kate Middleton’s dog is stealing column inches. This has not gone unnoticed, and I’ll step out without underwear tomorrow to compensate.”
But on behalf of the nation, let me assure you, Sears, that there’s no need for your dog, or you, to compete. There’s more than enough room for all of you in our hearts and in our tabloids, looking gorgeous.
And Andy, take care of this girl because she’s a keeper. I sincerely hope you bring home the silverware on Sunday, but either way, in Kim you have struck gold.

Fourteen people hurt after Fourth of July firework explosion erupts at display in California

At least 14 people have been injured due to malfunctioning fireworks at an annual 4th of July show northwest of Los Angeles.
Police Cmdr. John Parks said a detonation occurred about 9:20 p.m. Thursday at the city-run Fireworks Extravaganza located at Rancho Santa Susana Community Center and Park in Simi Valley.
It wasn't clear how many people were in attendance but Parks said the event usually attracts several thousand revelers.

Jordan Roberts, a public safety dispatcher with the Ventura County Fire Department, said more than a dozen people were being taken to area hospitals with minor to moderate injuries.
Emergency medical and fire personnel were already at the park to monitor the fireworks show, so the victims were attended to quickly.

A lot of people, myself included, wondered how Paris Hilton's house was broken into and robbed SIX times by the teenage burglars of The Bling Ring before she noticed anything was wrong. I got a chance to ask her when we talked in a West Hollywood office the other day and she had what seemed like a semi-plausible explanation. She travels a lot, she said, and her staff makes sure the house is neat, tidy and in perfect condition when she returns.

"I didn't notice until the last time because that's when they did the big hit and took millions of dollars of jewellery," she said.“Before that they were just taking little things from everywhere so I didn’t notice. But the final time they wanted to get as much as they could.”

The 32-year-old socialite-entrepreneur has a cameo role playing herself in The Bling Ring, Sofia Coppola’s film of the crimes and also loaned her house for the filming. For the cast and filmmakers, the house, stocked full of clothes, jewellery and ornaments, was something of a wonder.

Emma Watson, who stars as the leader of the Bling Ring, commented later: "It's almost like consumerism as a form of kleptomania. She could never wear all of those clothes and half of them were brand new and still had the price tag on. But I suppose she just bought them to have them. We've all bought things on impulse but that's an entirely different thing."
But Paris, who says she has "probably a couple of hundred pairs of shoes," had an explanation: "Well, I'm a designer and I have 17 product lines so a lot of the things in my house are my products – my handbag line, my sunglasses, my shoes..."
Paris Hilton is happy to talk about how she has rebuilt her life and changed her image from that of a dizzy blonde to a hard-driving businesswoman. Instead of a night-clubbing, party-going, spoiled rich girl whose dazzling wardrobe and well-planned photo ops made her a celebrity in her own right, she is now someone who controls a multi-national business and when not working, spends her evenings at home.
“I’ve grown up and now I’m mature,” she says. “In my twenties I was just getting to know myself and now I feel I finally know who I am.
“I’m staying out of trouble and staying away from negative people. I don’t go out that much anymore unless it’s for work, so I’m happy to be a businesswoman and focus on more important things. I don’t hang out with a lot of the people I used to see because I’m so busy with my work I just don’t have time for any of that.”

50 Cent Congrats On SECOND Child At Least According to Cops

The woman accusing 50 Cent of domestic violence is NOT Shaniqua Tompkins -- the mother of the rapper's 16-year-old son -- it's ANOTHER baby mama, TMZ has learned.

We broke the story ... cops say the victim of the domestic violence incident is a former girlfriend who has a child with 50.

50 has never publicly acknowledged having a second child ... but it appears the woman behind the allegation is Daphne Joy -- a model who famously dated 50 for 3 years.

There were rumors the two had a child last fall ... but neither 50 nor Daphne ever confirmed the birth. In fact, the L.A. City Attorney seemed to break the news in its statement to the media when it said the victim and 50 had a "child in common."

We spoke with Shaniqua, who swore she wasn't the accuser -- and we know Daphne lives in Toluca Lake, where the alleged incident took place.

So ... congrats???

L.A. Kings' Jarret Stoll, Boyfriend of Erin Andrews, Suffers a Seizure

Erin Andrews' boyfriend may still be feeling the repercussions of a grueling NHL season.
Los Angeles Kings center Jarret Stoll, who has been dating the Fox Sports host for several months, suffered a seizure early this morning at his Hermosa Beach home, team general manager Dean Lombardi confirmed to the Los Angeles Times.
Happily, Stoll, 31, is said to be doing well since the health scare.

"Everything is OK. They've run some tests and they still had another one to run," Lombardi said. "The bottom line is that he's fine. Now the issue is what caused it. There are a myriad of things that can cause them."
Stoll was rushed to Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance and could be released as early as sometime today, according to the Kings exec.
Anderson's rep was unavailable for comment. While guest-hosting Live! With Kelly & Michael last week, the veteran sports correspondent talked about Stoll and acknowledged that they were still an item.

Stoll exclusively confirmed to E! News back in March that he and Andrews had been set up by former NFL star Michael Strahan and that he had taken her on a romantic day-before-Valentine's-Day date to dinner in Malibu.
"How's your love life?" Strahan pressed Andrews during another guest-hosting appearance after Stoll had spilled the beans. "I want to know these things!"
"Well, it's good, thanks to Michael Strahan," she blushed.

"I was working the World Series this past year," Andrews ultimately explained, "it's like the fifth inning and I get a text message from one Michael Strahan. He said, 'Hey, can I give your phone number to somebody?' and I was like [eye roll], 'Oh, this better be good.'"
And it was!

The Canadian-born Stoll, who joined the Kings in 2008 and shared in their Stanley Cup win last summer, suffered a concussion in Game 1 of the team's Western Conference semifinal series against the San Jose Sharks.
He sat out for the rest of that series but returned for Game 1 of their conference final against eventual 2013 Stanley Cup champs the Chicago Blackhawks.
While recovering from the head injury in May, Stoll told the Times that he was "taking it slow."
"I've done this before, earlier on in my career, so I know how it feels and what's right and what's not, if I'm off or back to normal or not. So just day by day."

Big Brother: Racist and Homophobic Controversy in the House

A handful of Big Brother houseguests are in hot water this week – and not just those up for eviction this week.

Since moving in to the house less than two weeks ago, contestants Aaryn Gries, GinaMarie Zimmerman, and Spencer Clawson and others have been documented using racial, homophobic and misogynistic slurs on the 24-hour live feeds online.

The hate speech – which has reportedly been directed the women, blacks, Asians and gays in the house – has sparked a fervent reaction from both fans and former contestants of the CBS reality show.

"I find it disgusting and horrible that people still think this way in their hearts and act like it is okay to say," season 13 winner Rachel Reilly tells PEOPLE. "Every time one of these people come on a live feed I change it because I am so disgusted."

As a result of the documented slurs, Gries, 22, has been dropped by her modeling agency in Texas and Zimmerman, 32, has been fired from her employer East Coast Pageant, Inc., TMZ reports.

"Big Brother, I LOVE you, but, if you really want to provide a groundbreaking twist, SHOW CBS VIEWERS HOW SOME STRAIGHT, WHITE PEOPLE talk about gays, Asian Americans, and African Americans," season 12 contestant Ragan Fox said in an open letter Sunday. "It would be irresponsible to punt on this issue…viewers have to see it to believe it."

CBS also addressed the controversy in a statement released to PEOPLE.

"Big Brother is a reality show about watching a group of people who have no privacy 24/7 – and seeing every moment of their lives," says the network's statement. "At times, the Houseguests reveal prejudices and other beliefs that we do not condone. We certainly find the statements made by several of the Houseguests on the live Internet feed to be offensive."

And while CBS has not aired the controversial statements and slurs, not everyone believes they should or have to.

"I stand by CBS if they do not want to air it," Reilly says. "But I am saddened by what [the houseguests] have to say about minorities. The homophobic and racist remarks are beyond bad."

Season 15 of Big Brother airs on CBS every Wednesday, Sunday and Tuesday night.

Arizona Cardinals rookie Robert Gill is getting ready for training camp with a vengeance, as evidenced by some gotta-see-it-to-believe-it footage of him sprinting on a treadmill at the rate of 25 miles per hour.
And for the record, the 29-year-old Gill is a human being, not a gazelle.

Gill, a former Arena League player, was signed by the Cardinals after a day of minicamp this summer. The team officially reports for training camp in Glendale, Az., on July 25.
"There are three or four guys that have some speed," Cardinals coach Bruce Arians told AZCentral Sports last month. "Bobby Gill came up and made some really nice plays."
"Some speed" is one way to put it. Watch for yourself right here!
Meanwhile, not to be outdone by a guy who is actually currently playing for an NFL team, embattled wide receiver Chad Johnson posted his own 24 mph sprint on YouTube yesterday.

"Imitation is the best form of flattery," Gill tweeted today to a fan who wanted to know what he thought about Johnson's obvious attempt at one-upmanship. And to another: "@Double_R64 @ochocinco I hope the video helps him get on. He was one of my fave WRs. But a race against the Lambo he has no chance."
Johnson, meanwhile, is offering his tutelage to the NFL rookie.

Lindsay Lohan BIG Bday Plans ...With Her Lawyer

Lindsay Lohan is celebrating her birthday today with the one person in her life she can count on ... her lawyer Shawn Holley.

Sources close to LiLo tell TMZ ... Cliffside -- where she's currently in rehab -- denied the actress' request to have friends visit on her day of birth (i.e. today). Visiting days are only on Sundays ... rules are rules.

We're told LiLo's plan B was asking if she could leave the facility to get dinner with friends (with the DA's permission of course). Again she was shot down.

But all hope was not lost ... certain people can visit patients outside of visiting hours, like lawyers. And we're told Shawn is headed to the Malibu rehab joint to hang out with LiLo while she sulks over b-day #27.

As TMZ previously reported, LiLo was already pissed she'd be on lockdown for her birthday ... she wanted to have a huge party in NYC.

We'd say better luck next year, but y'know ...

TMZ has obtained video of the exact moment Big Boi from Outkast DESTROYED HIS KNEE during a live performance a few days ago ... and ... yeah, it hurts to watch.

The Outkast co-founder was finishing up a rendition of "Bombs Over Baghdad" at Summer Camp Fest in Illinois on Sunday when he jumped up for the big finish ... but botched the landing and blew out his left knee.

The 26-year-old paralegal found dead in her boyfriend's bathtub could have drowned after suffering a seizure.
Sources close to the investigation say Julia Papazian Law had been foaming at the mouth and likely suffered an episode that caused her drowning.
No drugs or alcohol were found at the scene.

The deceased woman's boyfriend, A. Charles Peruto Jr. was on the Jersey shore in Avalon, New Jersey, on Saturday when a maintenance man found Julia Papazian Law naked, face-down in the bathtub at Peruto's upscale three-story brick home.

The high-profile Philadelphia attorney was 'devastated and frantic' when he learned that his 26-year-old girlfriend had been found dead in his home, friends revealed.
Peruto has described being heartbroken by his young girlfriend's sudden death and released a bizarre tribute to the woman on his Facebook page, calling her his 'soulmate hippy.'

Peruto's friend, Richard L. DeSipio, told the Philadelphia Inquirer that he Peruto called him as he raced back to Philadelphia after learning of Miss Law's death.
'He was just devastated. He was just in hysterics. I was afraid he was going to get into an accident,' DeSipio said.

Miss Law had been working as Peruto's paralegal for about two years, according to reports.
Today, Peruto posted an odd tribute to the Miss Law on his Facebook page, according to NBC Philadelphia.
He wrote: 'It's very hard to find someone who really matches you on all eight cylinders. I found my soulmate hippy, and can never replace her. We worked and played, and never got enough life.
'I'm grateful we made every minute count, without a single dispute about anything ever. I'm especially sad for her 10-year-old brother, who was her life, along with her loving and close sisters, mother and step-father. Earth lost the best one ever. Happy birthday baby.'

Police sources identified the dead 26-year-old as Julia Law, who reportedly was dating 'super lawyer' A Charles Peruto Jr., who owns the home where the body was found

At the time of her death, Miss Law was three days away from her 27th birthday.

One colleague, who wanted to remain anonymous, told the Inquirer that Miss Law had recently talked to friends about enduring 'emotional turmoil.'
Philadelphia's Fox affiliatereports that authorities do not currently consider the death to be suspicious, although, the cause of death currently is unknown.

Tragedy: At the time of her death, Miss Law was three days away from her 27th birthday

The woman's body was discovered at about 10:30am by a maintenance worker who stopped by the home, located in Philadelphia's Center City neighborhood.
Speaking to NBC Philadelphia in Spanish, the worker said: 'The first thing I did was call 9-1-1 and police showed up. I then went to homicide to give my accounts of what happened.'
The station also reported that no drugs were found in the home.
Peruto told police he had been at the Jersey Shore, in Avalon, when the body was found. He was questioned by detectives and has not been arrested.
He would not speak to reporters seeking comment outside of his home.
He has handled numerous high-profile cases in the Philadelphia area, including alleged mobsters and killers.
According to his website, Peruto has been dubbed a 'super lawyer' - an honor for Philadelphia's top attorneys - by his peers nine years in a row, and has achieved 'Not Guilty verdict in over 200 jury trials and 2,500 non-jury trials.'
'He has been hired by other attorneys for the sole purpose of cross examining one or two witnesses in their cases,' the website boasts.
It goes on to say that 'as can be seen on this website under "Past Cases,"  he has been called a "ferocious cross examiner," "gives a supreme closing argument to a Jury," and "very entertaining on an otherwise boring case.'"
In 2012, Peruto 'successfully' represented Philadelphia weatherman John Bolaris in a situation the media dubbed ' the real life Hangover.'
Bolaris claimed he was drugged and scammed out of $43,712 by Russian 'bar girls' in Miami. He subsequently lost his job with Philadelphia's Fox affiliate.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the death.

A MUM of two told last night how her quest for a bigger bottom left her a quadruple amputee – and 24 hours from death.

Apryl Michelle Brown had black-market silicone injections which turned out to be BATHROOM SEALANT.
It left her in agony and led to her losing her hands and feet, as well as her buttocks.

The 46-year-old former hairdresser blames “vanity” and wants to warn others of the terrible dangers of such illegal treatments.
Apryl said: “I’ve paid a terrible price for vanity and I’ll pay for the rest of my life. But I blame no one but myself.
“I want to share my story to warn others about these so-called ‘quick fix’ surgeries.
“I didn’t realise the dangers. I thought it was a harmless injection that would give me the perfect bottom. But the reality was the silicone used wasn’t suitable for humans. It was, in fact, bathroom sealant only suitable for DIY.

“My body had a massive allergic reaction to it which left me at the brink of death.
“I was in so much agony that, by that point, dying would have been a release. The only way doctors could save my life was to amputate my buttocks, my hands and feet.”
Teased as a child about her “pancake” bum, Apryl vowed to buy a shapelier one when she was older.
She said: “I didn’t know if I wanted mine to look like Janet Jackson’s or J-Lo’s.
“I didn’t even know how you could do it. I just wanted a new, bigger bottom.”
The moment that changed her life came in 2004, when two women walked into her successful beauty salon to get their hair done.
One of them ran “pumping parties” — where unqualified practitioners inject illegal silicone into “patients” at their home.
Apryl, from Los Angeles, said: “One of the women told me how she had given bottom injections to the friend who was with her.
“I remember thinking it was a miracle she’d walked into my life. Her friend showed me the work she’d had done and it looked great.

“In a split second I made the decision that I was going to go to this woman and let her inject silicone into my behind.”
That decision nearly killed her. Apryl paid the woman, who had no medical background, around £650 for two lots of injections. Doctors later discovered the substance used was industrial-grade silicone.
Apryl admitted: “I didn’t do any research. A combination of naivety, misplaced trust and insecurity led me to take this disastrous decision.
“I trusted her because she seemed so professional, and I had no reason to think anything awful was going to happen.
“She carried out the procedure in her daughter’s bedroom. She assessed my bottom and said, ‘You’ll need three or four sessions to get the result you want’.
“The first procedure took an hour. I remember asking, ‘Is it meant to be so painful?’ and she said, ‘Yes’. It felt like it was squeezing through my nerves.”
Within weeks Apryl returned for her second treatment.
She said: “After going through it again I had an epiphany. As I left her house I thought, ‘What am I doing? I have no idea what she’s putting in my body’.
“I never returned. But though I didn’t know it then, my life had already changed forever.”
Over the next two years the area where she’d been injected became hard and the skin blackened.
Apryl, mum to daughters Danye, 22 and Courtney, 21, said: “Within a few months of the second injection my buttocks began to harden. I knew something wasn’t right. But shame stopped me seeking medical help. As time went on it got worse as the skin blackened. I developed hard lumps. Then the searing pain started. I had to tell my doctor what I did. I was so ashamed.”
Apryl spent the next four years in constant pain. Two surgeons told her it was too dangerous to remove the silicone.
She said: “I was in so much agony I became a regular at hospital asking for medication to ease what was like a combination of a migraine, childbirth and toothache localised in one area.

“I suffered day and night, so I was willing to do anything — including remove my buttocks.”
In February 2011 a surgeon operated unsuccessfully. Apryl developed a hole in her buttocks — thought to be the trigger for an infection that in June was nearly fatal. She said: “I was 24 hours from dying. I didn’t think of leaving my family. It was a relief I’d finally be free of pain.”
Doctors put her in an induced coma for two months while performing 27 surgeries — starting with amputating her buttocks — and doing extensive skin grafts.
She said: “They saved me but gangrene set into my hands and feet. I was brought out of sedation shortly before I became a quadruple amputee.
“My hands looked like those of a dead person. I knew then I was going to lose them.”
She added: “At first you try to register your new limbs. The real comprehension comes when you start to live this new life.
“I had dark times. I cried a sea of tears. I had to face the fact I’d lost my hands, feet and buttocks because of complications from bottom injections. I was overwhelmed by shame and guilt... all because I wanted a bigger bottom.
“I was six months in hospital. By the time I was discharged I was determined to turn this terrible thing into something positive.
“I decided to do a triathlon. I told myself if I could achieve that I could do anything.
“I took my first steps again by the end of 2011. I built up to training six days a week, learning to walk, cycle then swim again using my residual limbs.
“I’d be crying in pain but I’d push through it. And six weeks ago I did it — completing a three-mile walk, ten-mile cycle and a 150-metre swim.
“When I crossed that finishing line with my family cheering me on, I cried tears of joy.”
She added: “I haven’t sued or sought compensation. I just want to move on. There are things I miss dearly — I’ll never be able to do my girls’ hair or feel sand between my toes.
“But I believe I survived to share my story.
“I want to warn others of the dangers of black-market surgery. We were born whole, perfect and complete.
“My greatest message is we have to learn to love and accept ourselves for who we are.”

More evidence Lindsay Lohan is finally taking rehab seriously -- we've learned she's listening to her counselors and has found a clever way of trying to repair her damaged family.

Michael and Dina are at war, and Lindsay's counselors at Betty Ford are concerned the conflict is an impediment to the rehab process.  Betty Ford can't get Dina and Michael to work as a family unit, so Lindsay has resorted to a clever, bedazzled trick -- jewelry.

We're told Lindsay decided to purchase "anchor" chains for her dad, sister Ali and her brother Michael Jr. ... to represent how they are all anchors in her life.  Dina, Cody and Lindsay already have the chain.

Lindsay believes the symbolic gesture can actually open the door to some semblance of family unity ... which counselors think could help her in rehab.


Lindsay told Michael about her plan when he visited her this weekend, and it moved him enough to go out and buy the anchors himself, which Lindsay will give to the rest of the family.

Michael shipped the anchors to Lindsay, and she plans to give them to Michael Jr. and Ali when they visit her next weekend.

We're told counselors have a clear goal -- getting the entire family in the same room.

Anything is possible ... well, almost anything.

Muhammer Copur, 29, earns just £90 a month working as a shopkeeper in the tiny village of Karakale and lives in a two-bedroom home with his mum and five siblings.
In contrast, pregnant Kim, 32 - whose first child with Kanye West is due in July - resides in a £7 million LA mansion.
Muhammer discovered his family link to Kim after he used Karakale's only computer to search official records.
The pair's great-great-grandmothers were sisters - making them fourth cousins - but Kim's side of the family left the village in 1913.
'It's amazing. All the villagers are jealous and want to know if they are related to famous sexy millionaires too,' Muhammer tells The Sun.
'I'm hoping Kim will invite me to the US. All I want is a cup of tea with her.'

Justin's Neighbors Are Sick Of Bieber Fever

Justin Bieber’s millons of fans around the world can’t get enough of the teen superstar, but his small group of neighbors have reached their Bieber Fever limit. The 19-year old pop star’s reported diva-like behavior when it comes to allegedly speed racing his Ferrari on the streets of the ritzy gated enclave of Calabasas he calls home, is leaving his fellows residents at a tolerance level that's hanging by a thread.
So much so, one neighbor may have to resort to catching bad boy Biebs on camera to bring back a sense of neighborhood normalcy.

“He drives 100 miles an hour down the street. It sounds like an airplane,” a resident, who wished to remain anonymous, told Celebuzz. “And he hides behind his bodyguards when people come after him. He’s a coward.
“He spits on people, he’s speeding, and he’s driving recklessly.
“The problem is nobody’s caught him on videotape yet. That’s why the police aren’t doing anything. I guess our word is not good enough.”
Just last weekend it was reported by TMZ that resident and former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson chased down Bieber for speeding in the neighborhood and tried to confront the singer, to no avail.
Another Oaks resident, Nissim Evenheim, is trying to be diplomatic about the high speed claims, the first of which he says he heard himself when Biebs allegedly spat on a neighbor after he was confronted to slow down.

But Evenheim can’t hide his disdain for the disruption this has caused his once-private residence. “Of course, I’m bothered,” he said. “Naturally, I want peace and quiet and I hope the peace and quite comes back to the neighborhood.
“I think it’s negative attention and people pay a lot of money to live here,” added Evenheim. “I hope he (Justin) has learned his lesson.”
The other resident believes that will only come if there are enforced consequences.
“He’s a nuisance, a punk, and hopefully he’ll get what comes to him -- legal justice,” added the first resident.
“He’s been caught by police before, there are photos of him. Now, he’s choosing to do it in the neighborhood and police aren’t able to catch him. There are little children out here all the time. Something bad is going to happen.
“It’ll catch up with him and he’ll pay eventually.”
